Description

Silicone Rubber is the type of synthetic elastomer., with it exceptional high and low temperature range without failure, being able to operate normally from -100° to 260°C(-148 to 500°F) , making it a very thermally stable material and flame retardant. Silicone Rubber is very excellent electrical insulating properties, resistance to animal and vegetable oils, diluted acids, ozone, and oxidation and water absorption. Silicone Rubber has very good resistance to arcing, ultra violet light and ozone. Suitable for applications with food and drink. The range of colors including white, translucent, brick orange. Not suitable for applications requiring resistance to high tensile strength, tear strength, and abrasion. This make silicone rubber one of the elastomers of choice in many extreme environments.
